Our first session of the year is over.  We can hardly believe that we've been back at school for five weeks already.  On our last day of school before our Thanksgiving break, we invited parents and family members to come see our work.  

We shared a video to teach them what it means to have a fixed mindset, what it means to have a growth mindset, how our brains learn new things, and much more.  We edited our best reading responses to share the many books we've read with our families.  We also had our framed paintings mounted in the gallery.  It happened to be picture day so we were looking pretty spiffy and feeling great.  The highlight, though, had to be getting to see their reactions to our Thanksgiving video and song.   Thank you to everyone who attended and courageously made this school term such a success.
