In the month of August, Olive Grove Academy will be learning about the ancient and modern Olympic Games.  Each day we will focus on one sport and one country associated with the Olympics.  Do you have extra baseball gloves? Basketballs? Volleyballs? If you have sports equipment we can borrow or have to try out some of the sports we are learning, please contact Renée.  

Bugs and Butterflies

In the month of July, we explored many different creepy crawlies.  We learned about many different invertebrates, raised monarch caterpillars from egg to butterfly, explored the river and creek for insects and mollusks, and even wrote a song about metamorphosis. We were very happy to have some friends from Ottawa join us for two weeks.  They brought so much enthusiasm and helped us learn more French.  Guardians are welcome to log in to the "For Current Families" tab to see the video of our song.  If you'd like to try our bug quiz, click here.
